Time for a Tour

blogtour[1]This blog is only 10 days old, and I’ve been spending that time writing a few things and brainstorming ideas for future blog posts.  I’ve also sought to flesh out the blog a bit by adding a few pages and I thought now was as good a time as any to give you a tour.

I’ve written a brief bio to put in the About section and included a link to my introductory video for those who want to know more about me or the blog.

I’ve also uploaded some of the Essays & Papers that I’ve written over the years.  I sometimes have people ask me for my thoughts on different topics and some of those will be covered in these papers.  Most of them either fall under the category of Theology and the Church or Education and Culture.  If you’re curious, hopefully you might find something of interest there.

In addition to some of my writing (meager as it is) I’ve also put up links to some of the Teaching and Preaching that I’ve done.  There are two classes uploaded that I co-taught with my Dad at Heartland Community Church (PCA) in Wichita, Kansas.  I’ll also be uploading recordings of any sermons I preach for those that have asked about that.

Finally, I’ve started a page to organize whatever Videos I make to upload to the blog.  I’ll try to focus on writing, but I write because it’s good for me more than because I’m good at writing.  I find writing to often be challenging and feel more comfortable expressing myself through speaking.  From time to time, then, I’ll upload videos when I don’t have the time or energy to engage with something through the written word.

Well.  All of that has probably convinced you that I am a narcissistic-egomaniacal-meglomaniac.  Oh well.  At least you can say with John Bradford: “There but for the grace of God, go I.”
